Berlin Penthouse

Berlin Penthouse

The open-concept penthouse project in Berlin features a four-pitched roof that gives the façade a distinctive look. The aim was to create a contemporary and welcoming space in the heart of the city, connecting the kitchen, living room, and dining room to encourage interaction and flow between them. A bench running along the facade serves as additional seating, storage, and display space for decorative items or books. Organic shapes in furniture, such as curved tables and soft lighting, complement the rectilinear walls and façade, while natural materials like wood and stone provide warmth and texture. The penthouse benefits from abundant natural light, with large windows and skylights that flood the space with light. Light-blocking obstacles were avoided, and light intensity can be adjusted with light curtains.
